| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Lead Vocals: Melissa Arnold Hey yal', my name is Melissa but you can call me Missy, all my great fans do. I have been in this band for the past three years but before that I was in an awesome band called "Chamber Singers" that preformed all over the place. I love to sing and all that stuff but if I had it my way we would be covering a lot more Britney and Pussycat Dolls.... They ROCK!! As for my equipment..... just take a look at me. Oh, the equipment I use for the band....some kind of mic. I guess.
See ya at the next show.
Oh yeah, by the way, I'm single. Bring it on boys. | | Lead Guitar: John "So 80's!" Stivers
Bio:
plays guitar and sings (after a fashion) for UTC, and also plays bass and banjo. John (AKA “JT”) spent 11 years in New York City as a core member of Genyflyte, an urban contemporary band featuring Travis Milner (Gerald Levert, Roy Ayers, Isaac Hayes) and Butch Lee (Isaac Hayes). John has major label credits as a guitarist on MCA, Spring, and Polygram, and is featured on albums by Curtis Blow (w/ Bob Dylan and George Clinton from Parliament/Funkadelic) and Rahmlee Davis (Earth, Wind, & Fire; the Phoenix Horns). John has also performed with Brent Carter (Tower of Power vocalist) for Melba Moore productions, and with musicians from D-Train, Cameo, Michael Jackson’s band, and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. John’s country rock group, the Dead River Band, also played around New York City, and opened for Jonathon Edwards at the Lone Star Café. Since coming to Maine in 1989, John has played in Maine groups including the Funk Junkies, David Good (with Jeff Willis), and Georgia Humphreys (Edith Jones Project). John has also worked on projects with members of Maine bands such as the Delta Knights, the Tony Boffa Band, Victory Swing Band, and Papa Loves Mambo.
| | Drums: Rob "Fancy Pants" Klaiber
Experience: over 28 years of drumming Influences: Boston, Rush, Stray Cats, Steve Miller, Collective Soul, Led Zepplin and tons more. Equipment: TAMA – Imperial Star Cymbals: Zildjian, and Electronic Roland Drums
Quote: What I like most about drumming is performing in front of people who appreciate good music. A tapping foot attached to an expression that emits a musical connection is all it takes to make the hours of rehearsing all worth it. Don’t get me wrong, a crowd of dancing maniacs puts a smile on my face too. “Living in the limelight, the universal dream” but I think I’ll still take the back row on stage.

| | Rhythym Guitar: Dave "Backbone" Perron
Experience: Vocals, Bassoon, Kotchmar Concert Organ, Harpsichord
Equipment: Line 6 amps and effects, Fender American Standard Stratocaster, Takamine Acoustic/Electric
Bio: After years on the road as “Chief Procurement Officer” for bands like Johnny and the Mudwhores, The Sex Pigs, and Balls in the Air, Dave decided to settle down and form a “just for fun” band with his good friends. Over the years Dave has been left with just one good friend, Under the Covers Drummer, Rob. (Former founder and good friend Toothy Eisenhart not withstanding) He is pleased to announce that he is in the process of making 3 new good friends with the UTC newbies, Jersey Johnny, Professor Stivers, and Dr. Arnold. “After so long on the road and in the “biz” it is so great to be at home with good folks playing good music!” Playing for people who are out having fun and being able to interact with them is a highlight for Dave. Dave tries to live by the motto: “Take it easy, and if it is easy, take it twice.”
